Celebrating our 1st Anniversary at This Location
Hard to believe that it’s already been a year since we opened our 2nd location on Indiana Ave. Aside from our early years in the Grooming profession (1970’s – 1990’s), our founders, Don & Jacki Panzik established Riverside Grooming on April 16, 2011. We’ve been growing ever since and last year, on November 11, 2013, we opened this second Riverside location. We’re proud to be able to say the reception has been wonderful.

You never know what cute new Doggie fashion attire your pet will come home wearing when groomed at Riverside Grooming.
We go to great measures to sniff out the latest hot trends but mostly, we create hot new trends ourselves. Some of our customers even request some color to add a little,or a lot, of pizzazz.
Over the years we got sort of bored with the same old bows and bandanna routine so we decided to spice life up a bit by thinking outside of the box and designing our own cute, and sometimes even a bit sexy attire for the most discriminating of our doggie pals. Flowers to match the season, bow-ties and neck-ties for our boys and we don’t leave out our big boys and girls when it comes to this fashion fun either.
To add to frenzy we are doing temporary pet safe color on some of our more daring customers. Just in time for Howl-o-ween! Come join us!

WHAT IS MICROBUBBLE TECHNOLOGY?
Microbubbles represent advancement in skin cleaning capability. They take the concept of clean skin to a level that soaps and detergents cannot emulate. Microbubbles penetrate deep into pores and hair follicles, eliminating sebum, dirt and organic matter that conventional cleaning techniques simply cannot address. However, appropriate shampoos still have their place, particularly animals with excessively oily skin, so proper cleansing is determined by the skin type being treated.
EXACTLY WHAT ARE MICROBUBBLES?
Simply speaking, microbubbles are just very small bubbles. To qualify as “micro”, a bubble must, in fact, be less than a 1000 micrometers in size. However, to be effective for deep cleaning skin, the bubbles should be less than 25 micrometers in size and larger than 2. This allows them to penetrate hair follicles and skin pores while not passing through epidermis.
Riverside Grooming’s Microbubble System uniformly generates bubbles ranging from 3 to 20 micrometers. To put this in perspective, a typical human red blood cell is approximately 8 micrometers in size; a human hair is approximately 70 micrometers and most bacteria are between 3 and 40 micrometers in size.
IS IT SAFE FOR DOGS WITHOUT SKIN CONDITIONS?
Yes, it’s quite relaxing for the dog. As a matter of fact, it sometimes calms pets to the point where they go to sleep. With microbubble cleansing, there’s no need for loud high-pressure water nozzles. It’s very soothing and with our Dedicated Enzyme Bath Agent, it is even more soothing for your pet. Think of it as a relaxing spa session.
While Microbubble Technology does not replace veterinary or medical protocols, this wonderful deep-skin cleaning can enhance your doctor’s treatments.
HOW MICROBUBBLES WORK
These illustrations will demonstrate the tiny bubbles penetrating the pores and hair follicles. With the added Cleansing Powder, Sebum, Oils and Dirt cling to the bubbles and lift to the surface of the water.

Modeled from the exceptional standards you’ve come to know at our Arlington spa. We are nestled in the Indiana Mac Plaza at 10555 Indiana Ave., between Tyler & La Sierra. Only a couple of minutes from Tyler Mall and Riverwalk Vista, you can drop off your pet and get all your shopping done.

For our guests who live in the La Sierra, Lake Matthews or Corona areas, you’ll find our brand new location perfectly located and congestion-free! Our guests who live in Woodcrest, Mockingbird Canyon or Canyon Ridge will find us even closer to home. We are looking forward to servicing you at either one of our spas.
Adding A Second Shop
After 7 years in Riverside, Don & Jacki Panzik are scheduled to open their second pet grooming shop. Their first Riverside salon was established on April 17, 2011 and in only 2 1/2 years, they’ve serviced an abundance of dogs and cats in the area. With a growing number of clients in the Riverside area, they have decided to open a second shop near Tyler Galleria mall. This way their clients in the Lake Matthews, La Sierra and Corona areas will have better access to Riverside Pet Grooming services. And naturally, they’d like to extend an invitation to those living in those areas to come by and experience the quality of service Riverside Grooming is known for.
After looking high and low, they’ve found it conveniently located on Indiana Ave. between Tyler & La Sierra, only about a minute or two away from the Mall and the other Riverside Target. Just exit La Sierra, go south to Indiana – make a left and go about 1/2 mile down. You’ll spot it on your left. If you exit Tyler, go south (don’t turn left on Indiana), keep going and you’ll turn right on Indiana Ave. It’s about 1/4 mile on your right.
Their hand-selected staff have been expertly trained and are flawless at grooming most every breed presented. The floor layout will be very similar to the Arlington spa, so you can expect more of the same quality you’ve come to know. Construction is scheduled to begin the first week of October and plans for a Grand Opening are scheduled the 1st of November, if not sooner!
